Ms. Wellerlane was invited to cover the We Are Family Foundation (WAFF) to Honor Sir Elton John, Quincy Jones, Tommy Hilfiger at the Manhattan Center Hammerstein Ballroom on April 25, 2006. WAFF is a not-for-profit organization founded by Nile Rodgers. WAFF celebrates a common humanity and the vision of a global family by creating and supporting programs that inspire and educate individuals about the understanding of multiculturalism. She also spoke to Joy Behar who recently lost 30 pounds and looked very svelte. Joy Behar spoke to Cognac about how she has become involved with Gilda Radner Cancer Fundraiser and how she has become a generous supporter. Cognac was invited to the Christopher Reeve Paralysis Fundraiser. It was Mr. Reeve’s first public appearance without a ventilator.
