The infamous Movie Director Roman Polanski who had sex with a 13 year old is having a rough holiday.
Roman Polanski, the disgraced movie-maker is confined to his luxury ski chalet in Gstaad, Switzerland, with only close family and expensive wine for company. Polanski, 76, is under house arrest awaiting possible deportation to the US for sodomizing a 13-year-old girl in 1977. But a source told Page Six, “His wife, Emmanuelle Seigner, has been spotted out in the town shopping for his favorite food and cheeses, while the champagne and wines have been delivered to the house. He’s planning a small family dinner for New Year’s Eve with possibly one or two other friends.” Polanski yesterday launched a $1.1 million suit against the paparazzi camped outside his home for allegedly invading his privacy and harassing his family.

Kate Moss suffered a $32,000 Christmas hangover after gorging on champagne and holiday treats before her Thailand vacation, according to Britain’s Daily Mirror. The skinny model overindulged on “turkey and all the trimmings, booze and Christmas pud,” a source told the paper. Moss got so ill that she wasn’t able to board the flight on Dec. 26, forcing her family and friends to sit out the trip, too

Abraham Lincoln was not gay, no matter what playwright and AIDS activist Larry Kramer says — according to Harold Holzer, who’s written 35 books about our 16th president and the Civil War.
The subject came up in this week’s New York magazine story about Kramer — co-founder of Gay Men’s Health Crisis and ACT UP — and his 4,000-page manuscript, “The American People,” which claims that George Washington, Alexander Hamilton, Lewis and Clark and Lincoln were all homosexuals.
Kramer claimed that a diary and a stash of letters were found under the floorboards of a building where Lincoln had lived with his roommate and supposed lover, Joshua Speed.

TV Star Tracy Morgan had a last minute emergency. The “30 Rock” star burst into the Toys in Babeland sex shop on Mercer Street. “He looked around for a minute and then hollered across the store, ‘Hey, do you have motion lotion?’ They helped him pick it out. He handed them cash, and ran out of the store to a BMW X6 that was waiting on the street for him.” We wonder who was in the car.

Gov. Paterson
Gov. Paterson avoided the tequila shots and stayed sober at a birthday party for a political staffer at Gramercy Park bar 3 Steps the other night. Although witnesses claimed that guests were downing shots at the Second Avenue bar, a manager told us the governor drank Diet Cokes all night. He added, “Paterson stayed for an hour or two talking politics with partygoers, shaking everyone’s hand and getting pictures with everyone he could.”

Recent solo act Susan Sarandon who has just broken her longtime relation with Tim Robbins was seen with her gentleman resembling her alleged pingpong paramour Jonathan Bricklin made a pit stop at Mermaid Oyster Bar in the Village Tuesday night. The duo arrived after the kitchen closed, says a spy, and “seemed pretty friendly.” Sarandon drank tequila while her date swilled Jameson before they left shortly after 1 a.m. Sarandon and Bricklin — both backers of Flatiron pingpong club Spin — are rumored to be an item following Sarandon’s breakup with Tim Robbins. Both deny any romance and claim their relationship is strictly business.

David Barton and wife Suzanne Bartsch never bend the rule for getting in at their annual Toy Drive — no one gets in without donating a toy. But every year, celebrity wannabee’s and New Yorkers who are just dying to be seen and photographed like celebs try desperately to crash. Luckily, there’s a store near the Barton gym on West Eighth Street where he and his wife, Susanne Bartsch, held their annual event. “The line at Walgreens next door was just as long as the line to get into the party,” laughed one guest. “Everyone was picking up last-minute gifts for the kids.” Co-host Marc Jacobs arrived with boyfriend Lorenzo Martone and four gigantic bags full of goodies, including a 3-in-1 training bike for toddlers, Barbie’s Pink Mustang Convertible and a Tonka truck. Designer Richie Rich, transsexual Amanda Lepore and several drag queens helped dilute the family atmosphere. Bette Midler could not attend but showed her support for the kids by sending 500 toys to the Barton gym.

Socialites, Fashionistas and Celebrity Hounds attended a fabulous soiree at Cipriani’s to benefit all dogs in need on December 11, 2009.
The event was hosted by Founder and Editor Wendy Diamond of Animal Fair Magazine.
In 1999, Wendy after adopting her rescued Russian blue cat, Pasha, along with a rescued white Maltese named Lucky, she used her natural spirit, charm, and business acumen and ventured off to start an animal lifestyle magazine and website called Animal Fair (fairness to animals). In the past year Wendy added a new member to her family Wanda a sparkling red beta fish.
Animal Fair is the premier lifestyle magazine and website for animal lovers in support of fairness to animals and animal rescue. Animal Fair is dedicated to highlighting non-profit animal organizations, giving them the opportunity to tell their inspirational stories and to provide contact information so that our readers can become involved. When Animal Fair launched in 1999, 12 million animals were euthanized in shelters. This year the number has reportedly decreased to 6 million! We don’t take all the credit, but we are doing our part to help support animal rescue! Charlize Theron, Halle Berry, Renee Zellweger, and Drew Barrymore have all graced the cover with their animals.

This is such is such a festive time and New York City is truly one of the most exciting cities in the world to experience the Holiday Season. I myself have been truly busy attending events, galas and Christmas Soirees. I recently took in a show on Broadway “White Christmas” with my two best friends Celebrity Photographer Shane Gritzinger and Costume Designer/Stylist Rosemary Ponzo.
