On a hot sexy summer night you can entertain your apetite  dining at the very sexy Madame Tong’s Restaurant in Southampton. Diners relax in the comfy swinging loveseats or banquettes in the eatery’s expansive backyard. The Asian restaurant from Ed “Jean Luc” Kleefield is adorned with colorful shades, dragons, and strobe lighting, and kicks backs its tables for late night dancing and mingling in the indoor/outdoor hardwood-floored space. An inspot for celebrities that love Asian food (Howard Stern) later the mood is the young hipster twitter crowd.  Madame Tong’s is the best option for dining in the Hamptons and drinks to prepare yourself and your guest for a night out, or for those who don’t want to deal with the hassle of the nearby velvet-rope clubs, Madame Tong’s stays packed till the wee hours.

Last weekend I enjoyed dining and chatting with owner Jean Luc and his fabulous Manager David Denekas as I dined on Sushi and Champagne.  Later Fashion Designer Hillary Flowers showed her collection outdoors to the set of tropical music and bonfires.

Nov 15, 2007 Hillary opened “Hillary Flowers Designer Collective” located at 40 Clinton Street in the Lower East Side of Manhattan.  The boutique is designed to allow emerging designers to directly test the retail market.  Each designer has complete control over their inventory and products plus, they select their own price points.  Hillary directly consults each designer and assists with PR events and marketing strategies.  She requires a short- term commitment to test their product in the retail market.  Naturally overtime, there will be a slight change in designer representation.  Thus products in the shop being sold vary from women’s and men’s clothing, accessories and jewelry.  Currently about 20 designers are selling at “Hillary Flowers Designer Collective”.
