I had the pleasure of interviewing Celebrity Magician Matt Wayne at the World Trump Bar in United Nations Plaza.-

For more than a decade, Matt Wayne has been entertaining audiences internationally with his unique approach to magic. Having performed in more than six countries- Matt has a genuine love for entertaining. An alumnus of the prestigious American Academy of Dramatic Arts conservatory in New York City- which hails alumni such as Grace Kelley, Robert Redford, Danny DeVito, and legendary Don Rickles- Matt’s comedic presence and personable nature onstage is one to witness.

Catering his show to business, hospitality, and private audiences- numerous top corporations including Trump International, Hilton, Crowne Plaza, Daaichi Sankyo Pharmaceuticals, Coca Cola and Wal-Mart have used his talents.
During the 2006 year, Matt toured extensively in Asia with his stand up comedy magic show, and graced stages with international acts such as Kathy Griffin, Nashville Music Artist- Floyd VanLaningham, and the Harlem Globetrotters.

Currently residing in New York City- Matt fills his time sharing magic, creating, teaching magic, writing, and enjoying life to its fullest.

Jeremy is also the sole proprietor of 1-800-Weirdos. He founded Verge as a multimedia performance group in 1987; they performed their first gig at CBGBs in 1988. At 1-800-Weirdos, he performs a LIVE interactive musical reality Internet TV show EVERY NIGHT at MIDNIGHT on http://www.Weirdos.TV. As an actor, he has performed on stage and in films and video including acclaimed Iranian director Amir Naderi’s “Sound Barrier”. As a theatre director, he has masterminded such bizarre epics as “Speak of the Devil (A Satanic Cabaret)” and “Battle of the Dead Celebs”. As a composer, he has invented soundtracks for Verge, as well as having scored many short films. Jeremy will be directing William Shakespeare’s Taming of the Shrew this Summer, to be performed in Central Park at the end of July.

A lover of art, Moviestar Brad Pitt was searching for art treasures at the Art Basel convention in Switzerland, where a source reported, “He bought a painting from David Zwirner,” a Chelsea-based art dealer. The work, “Etappe” by Leipzig-based Neo Rauch, went for $953,000. The art fair is celebrating its 40th anniversary. Pitt “mostly browsed New York-based galleries” said our source, before checking out furniture at the adjacent design fair Design Miami/Basel.

We all know that “Real Housewives” Jill Zarin and Romana Singer are not the best of Pals. The atmosphere was tense the other day at a surprise birthday luncheon for Miami beauty Carol Press at bistro Chat Noir on East 66th Street. Both Zarin and Singer were invited, and Zarin and the other guests enjoyed chicken paillard and parmesan french fries with a group of well-coiffed, real housewives. But Singer showed up early, “said hi to the women who were already there and left before Jill showed up,” a witness revealed. “It was so obvious.”

Strangely enough beautiful Sienna Miller claims she’s never been on a real date. In the July issue of Vogue, the actress reveals, “I’ve actually never been taken on a date in my whole life. I have never had a one-night stand. I’m a real relationship person — contrary to public perception . . . I get kind of emotionally involved very quickly, and I’m not going to spend time with someone unless I love them. But it’s not hard for me to fall in love.”

Owners of 1Oak on West 17th Street and Butter on Lafayette, Scott Sartiano and Richie Akiva are now partners to the nightclub Plumm at 246 W. 14th St. A source revealed, “Scott and Richie bought the space but don’t know yet what they want to do with it. They still have to finalize some details before the deal is complete, but they love the neighborhood.” Before The Plumm, the address housed famed Nell’s from 1986-2004.

Justin Long and Drew Barrymore

Everyone knows when you are a spokesperson for a major product one of the perks is getting a free supply of whatever you are promoting so why isn’t Justin Long walking around with a free “Mac” for being the “I’m a Mac” spokesperson. Apparently Long doesn’t even have an iPhone of his own? A source revealed that he noticed Long with on-again girlfriend Drew Barrymore at Café Stella in Los Angeles the other and reported, “He kept pulling out his crappy old Motorola.” Long’s publicist was unavailable for comment.

Actors and cast members Hope Davis, Marcia Gay Harden and James Gandolfini

It was a do over for a Broadway audience for “God of Carnage.”  Hope Davis and James Gandolfini forgot their lines and came down with the giggles. Davis, whose character was about to vomit, buried her head in a bowl and Gandolfini turned his back to the audience. But then they started laughing. “Hey guys, sorry, but we’re gonna have to start this over,” Gandolfini announced. Castmate Jeff Daniels chimed in, “Believe me, when we get it right it’s really funny, just watch, wait.” After the re-start, their flawless performance earned a standing ovation.

Usher

Recording Artist Usher has been seen with a new love interest.  The woman has been identified as Island Def Jam staffer Grace Miguel. Last week, KM Press Group photographed Miguel and Usher — who married Tameka Foster in 2007 — at Malibu Country Market, and the singer wasn’t wearing his wedding band. Then, late Thursday night, he and Miguel were snapped by X17 entering the Sun set Marquis Hotel in West Hollywood. In February, Page Six reported Foster, who lives in Atlanta with her kids, was livid because Usher refused to let her come to Las Vegas, where he was recording his album.

“I DON’T think it should be a surprise for anyone to hear that I’m gay,” glamtastic “American Idol” Adam Lambert reveals in Rolling Stone. “I’m proud of my sexuality . . . I embrace it.” But he’s focusing on his career: “I’m trying to be a singer, not a civil rights leader.” Lambert decided to compete in  “Idol” after a drug-fueled epiphany at the Burning Man festival in the Nevada desert. He goes on to say, “I realized that we all have our own power, and that whatever I wanted to do, I had to make happen . . . I was like, ‘I’m going to glue rhinestones on my eyelids, bitch!’ ”
