The gossip was flying about the Swine Flu at a launch party for El Museo del Barrio hosted by Yaz Hernandez and Isabel Toledo at the Mauboussin jewelry store on Madison Avenue about the Mexican swine flu.   Celebrities who attended were designers Christian Cota, Reem Acra, Angel Sanchez and gorgeous Mexican model Liliana Dominguez.   A wealthy Mexican businessman captured their attention stating the flu possible epidemic was an American conspiracy to keep gringo tourists from traveling south of the border. “In these recessionary times, the idea is to keep Americans at home spending money here,” the mogul  continued “First it was the drug cartels, now this pig thing! The Americans are ruining our reputation.”

American Idol Judge Paula Abdul is about to be made fun of in theatres very soon — and she is totally unaware of it.  It seams Sacha Baron Cohen will portray a flamboyant gay Austrian TV reporter in “Bruno,” who partakes in a crazy interview with the “American Idol” judge. “Paula believed it was the real thing instead of it being a mock interview for a movie. Universal, will releases the movie on July 10, Paul and her rep had no comments to share. Her rep Ron Paul has already confessed of  being fooled into a hotel room by Cohen’s character.

Madonna

Hamptonites are not happy about Madonna taking residence this summer in the Hamptons.  There was speculation that she might buy the expansive Wolffer Estate Vineyards in Sagaponack, the 12,000 square foot Italian Tuscan style villa with 100 acres has been for sale since January after the owner Christian Wolfer mysteriously died in a boating accident on New Year’s Eve.    Madonna only showed interest in the estate so that she could keep her horses at the winery stable.  Our source revealed she also came with a long list of demand stating that “no one could be in the riding ring at the same time she was. It was laughable. They turned her down flat.” So she packed up her horses and moved them to her friend Steven Klein’s estate where she fell off the horse, stirring up more publicity.  But that hasn’t stopped her from shopping for home out East or Westchester’s Bedford,  Sources have revealed she has nade a comitment to stay her in the United States and that place is the Hamptons this summer.

Dita and her new beau were recently spotted at the Coachella Music Festival. “We’re all shocked they’re together,” a friend of Castelbajac revealed, “She’s really robbing the cradle.”

Bloch needled one by e-mail: “I’m sorry you won’t be able to attend . . . But I totally understand that when one is a nominee for Vanity Fair’s International Best-Dressed List, one must have many, many obligations! I’m sure you’re out there campaigning . . . shaking babies and kissing hands. In front of Barneys, perhaps? Well, just so you know, I voted for you!” Bloch has lined up a huge cache of designer dresses for the silent auction. Great deals, if you’re a size 4.

Susan came from a small village in England before appearing on “Britain’s Got Talent.” Her agent, Richard Pine of Inkwell Management is trying to persuade publishing executives but they seem to e skiddish about investing millions in this project on a woman that hasn’t really done much with her life. “She has a story,” an insider revealed to Crain’s, “but it’s a short story.”

Senator Alfonse  and Katuria D’Amato on their wedding day

Today was such a beautiful day in Lido Beach I couldn’t resist walking across the street to get some rays on the beach when I suddenly see beautiful blonde Katuria D’Amato, new wife to ex Senator Alfonse D’Amato, pulling 14 month old Alfonse Jr. in a wagon.  No make with her complexion looking sunkissed from the hot weekend and wearing an expensive warmup suit she introduced me to the new addition to the family, Alfonse Jr. We chatted about the beach and the weather and she confessed to me that she is four months pregnant.  “This time it will be a girl, we found out,” she expressed.  This will be his 6th child for the 71 year old Former three-time U.S. Senator.  The new baby is due in October.
 

D’Amato has four children from a previous marriage along with 14 grandkids.

After falling off her horse in Long Island Madonna’s friends are helping her get better.  The gossip is that good friend and Fashion Designer” Marc Jacobs penned a letter requesting for Jesus’ work permit” to allow him to stay in the country, revealed a source.   “Marc campaigned for Jesus, saying he is highly talented and a necessity to the label.” Last week, Women’s Wear Daily reported Dolce & Gabbana’s fall-winter menswear campaign will feature Luz. Our gossiper revealed ”All these fashion lines are hiring Jesus as a favor to Madonna. As long as he can legally work in the US, they can be together.”  Her manager denies all claims that Madge is responsible for managing the career of her heart throb Jesus Luz.

Well darlings, you can’t tell me that this is not another publicity stunt that our Madonna has conceived, “Jesus and Madonna.”  You get the picture darlings?
