Shy unassuming modest Peter Parker returns to his hometown of Queens for the U.S. premiere of Spiderman 3, directed by Sam Raimi. Stars Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst will join 3,000 fans at the UA Kaufman Astoria 14 in downtown Astoria on Monday, April 30th and The Tribeca Film Festival will also present free simultaneous screenings in the other four boroughs (secret location details will be posted when they are announced). It’s all part of Spider-Man Week in NYC, which will include more screenings and cool events at NYC landmarks like the American Museum of Natural History and the Central Park Zoo.

The Tribeca Film Festival prepares you for Spider-Man 3 the right way by reliving the first two films the way they were meant to be seen — on the big screen. The Tribeca Film Festival features midnight screenings of Spider-Man and Spider-Man 2 as well as both films back-to-back on May 3 so you can create your own tripleheader by heading from the festival to the very first midnight shows of Spider-Man 3. Plus, delve behind the scenes with a fascinating panel featuring the likes of Spider-Man’s very own Sandman, Thomas Hayden Church, Marvel Comics Editor in Chief Joe Quesada, and X-Men: The Last Stand screenwriter Zak Penn.. Special guests, giveaways and surprises await
So hurry up darlings and trek down to the Tribeca Film Festival to catch Spiderman 3 and watch Toby Macquire soar through the sky saving Kirsten Dunst.
